I would like to inform you about the next and up-coming 6th International Youth Tournament for  Horseball, which will take place at St. George d'Orques the 12th, 13th and 14th July 2008.  On this occasion, the young players will be able to confront the national and regional teams from various countries, as well as those selected from France. This competition is open to various categories: poussins, benjamins, minimes, cadets (ponies and horses) and for the second time the new category players under 21 years old.

This event is a breeding ground for players of all categories and allows the national judges to discover, follow and recruit future champions.  Lastly, this event gives good reason and encourages a great number of young players to follow the road to success and their dreams.

The terrific organization by the technical staff permitted our young riders to give the game their very best, while assuring their safety.

We are an association and more than forty volunteers worked before and during the championship so that everything went on schedule, and that all the needs of the riders, coaches and horses are met.  Conviviality, cultural and sport exchanges are the positive outcome of this competition like the many external meeting which have been organized friendly.

RULES AND CHECKING

The tournament will take place according to the International Rules of Horse-Ball ver.3.6 (available on www.fihb-horseball.org).

Each match will be umpired by two referees.  Every team taking part to the tournament has if possible to propose a referee.  The organizing country will name a general referee who will be the present of the event.

After the first matches there will be a grading list according to the points obtained.

• Match won: 3 points
• Draw: 2 points
• Match lost: 1 point
• Withdrawal: 0 point

After the finals a grading list will be established for each category.

PONIES AND HORSES

All ponies will need their health certificate (book) with proof of an up-to date vaccination. The Law required for this year that all poneys and horses may be recognized per the chip (electronic signaling).

A veterinary control will be done for all the horses on saturday to Monday ‘s morning,  A veterinary control will be done on few ponies..

You must make your reservation as soon as possible since we have preferential price for the first 30 flats loosed (300 euros per flat and for 3 nights and 4 persons, 400 euros per flat for 4 persons for one week).
