CHBC: The « HARAS DE CHAMBLY » is the only specific school of horse-ball in France, with experience and values. We won the last championship after a real fight all year long versus GIF sur YVETTE. It was a really interesting championship with suspense, and great game from all teams, with a really high level.
FIHB: What do you think about “The Champion’s League”?
CHBC: What a good idea, we think that horse-ball player in the world could expect something like that. The Champion league is the better occasion for the people to discover a really good equestrian sport, because this event brings the better conditions we ever seen to play our sport.
FIHB: The Champion’s League takes place for the first time this year. And you are one of the 4 teams participating. What does it signify for you?
CHBC: It is going to be a magic moment, finally be able to realize a child dream. We will be the first teams fighting for this trophy. It’s an honour, first of all to participate to this new event and then to represent France with all the pressure that included.
FIHB: What are you expecting for you team?
CHBC: We are motivated to write History, we are coming with objective to be the first team winning this cup.
FIHB: Can you say some words about the players in your team?
CHBC: Our team is young but with potential. We‘ve got new horses but with payers experimented so step by step we are going to put up something great. Hopefully we con count on our captain, and on our coach bringing experience and wisdom for our team. Finally this team is motivated to the future, takes time but really decided.
When Horse-Ball for the first time was introduced to the Swedish audience at Stockholm International horse Show 2006 it was a roaring success. The TV commentators said that it was the most fantastic development that the equestrian sport has ever seen, much more exciting that they could ever anticipate. In the thorough public survey among our spectators, that is done every year, it was top ranked. A Champions League Final in Stockholm in the fantastic Globe Arena would be embraced with the greatest interest by media and spectators alike. Ulf Rosengren
