During the last FIHB General Assembly the decision has been taken to increase the number of members in the Bureau from 5 to 6. Marcelo Eduardo Busto from Argentina has been elected. Marcelo is President of the Horse-Ball Commission within the PAF (Pato Argentinian Federation) which is now member of the FIHB.

During the past years FIHB has been strongly pushing for the development of Horse-Ball in North and South America. After the organisation in 2006 of an important event in Buenos Aires with the participation of Brazil, Canada, USA and Argentina, it created the motivation and the interest of this country to join our International organisation. The World Cup in Ponte de Lima during these last days gave the final input and push for Argentina to confirm their place in the Horse-Ball world, both from a competitive point of view and from a promotional point of view.

"I am very pleased and delighted to be now in FIHB organisation and I will be able to represent the interests of the whole American continent" said Marcelo. "I am glad that Argentina is joining our organisation and especially that Marcelo has become a Bureau member" said Eric Bassot, FIHB President, "to have a country like Argentina in our Bureau with such a background of experience in Pato and such an experienced person like Marcelo, brings great value to our whole organisation".

En la última Asamblea general de la FIHB, se tomo la decisión de incrementar el nº de los miembros del Bureau. Marcelo Eduardo Busto de Argentina ha sido elegido.

Marcelo es presidente de la Comisión de Horseball de la Federación Argentina de Pato. (PAF) que es hoy en día miembro de la FIHB.

En los últimos años, la FIHB ha apostado fuertemente por el desarrollo del Horseball en América del Norte y del Sur. Después de la organización en 2006 de un evento importante en Buenos Aires con la participación de Brasil, Canadá, USA, y Argentina, creo la motivación y el interés de estos países en formar parte de nuestra organización internacional. La reciente Copa del mundo en Ponte de Lima Portugal dio el último tirón a Argentina para confirmar su lugar en el mundo del horseball, tanto del punto de vista de la competición como de la promoción.

Marcelo Busto declaro. "Estoy encantado y agradecido de estar ahora en la organización de la FIHB y representaré los intereses de todo el continente Americano". A lo que Contesto Eric bassot: " Estoy contento que Argentina haya entrado en la FIHB, especialmente que Marcelo integre el Bureau, un País como Argentina con tanta experiencia y entorno en Pato y una persona tan ducha en este ámbito como Marcelo, nos trae un gran valor a nuestra organización."
