It has been an exceptional competition and event. Not only for the fantastic organizational aspects and conditions that have been put in place by Joanna and Piotr Zielinski our local contact their and responsible for the Horse-Ball development in Poland, but also for the sportive aspects of the competition.
Until the last moment nobody would know who would win this Championship, three teams, after the second day of competition would have been able to get the gold medal. Italy, for the first time in its history, after the second day of competition, winning the Spanish team given for favourite, insure nearly mathematically its silver medal. But at the end of the third day, three teams had the same number of points and the first two (France and Spain) the same Goal Average. Therefore the Spanish team will get the first place thanks to the best attack (26 goals against 24 for France).
1st Day:
France 6 - Spain 7
Italy 7 - Portugal 5
2nd Day:

When Horse-Ball for the first time was introduced to the Swedish audience at Stockholm International horse Show 2006 it was a roaring success. The TV commentators said that it was the most fantastic development that the equestrian sport has ever seen, much more exciting that they could ever anticipate. In the thorough public survey among our spectators, that is done every year, it was top ranked. A Champions League Final in Stockholm in the fantastic Globe Arena would be embraced with the greatest interest by media and spectators alike. Ulf Rosengren
