The "Fédération Internationale de Horse-Ball" (FIHB) is an association governed by French law founded in 1999 and based in Paris. It has 15 member associations and its goal, enshrined in its Statutes, is to coordinates efforts between national federations, organizes internationale competition, updates the rules and provides International refereres to assume the constant improvement of Horse-Ball. FIHB is composed of the Bureau and commissions.

The FIHB General Assembly, the most-critical organ of Horse-Ball's international governing body, normally meets every year.
The Bureau consists of a President, elected by the General Assembly every four years, 2 vice-presidents and until to 13 members, appointed by members associations.
When Horse-Ball for the first time was introduced to the Swedish audience at Stockholm International horse Show 2006 it was a roaring success. The TV commentators said that it was the most fantastic development that the equestrian sport has ever seen, much more exciting that they could ever anticipate. In the thorough public survey among our spectators, that is done every year, it was top ranked. A Champions League Final in Stockholm in the fantastic Globe Arena would be embraced with the greatest interest by media and spectators alike. Ulf Rosengren
