When Horse-Ball for the first time was introduced to the Swedish audience at Stockholm International horse Show 2006 it was a roaring success. What is Horse-Ball

Horse-Ball is a highly spectacular equestrian sport which can be defined as a kind of "basket-ball on a horseback". It was started off in France by French Army Captain Clave, a showjumping World Champion in the 30's. In the 70's the French Equestrian Federation defined the rules on which the game is now played. In 1999 the International Horse-Ball Federation was created to manage and promote the sport across the globe. Horse-Ball today is played by thousands of people in 3 continents. In April 2004 FIHB was recognised by the FEI and Horse-Ball became a Regional discipline in Group I and II.
