L'association australienne de horse-ball a tenu en début d'année une réunion générale afin de créer un nouvel organigramme et de lancer la saison 2012 de plus belle.
Cette saison, les amateurs australiens vont participer à de nombreux "agricultural shows". Ces shows sont des séries de rassemblements de certaines disciplines équestres comme le CSO, le dressage ou le rodéo. Une vitrine non négligeable car ces disciplines attisent beaucoup de monde. Le horse-ball sera en démonstration tout au long de l'année lors de ces "agricultural shows" uniquement dans l'Etat du New South Wales.
Saison officiellement lancée le 24 mars à Camden (près de Sydney). Deux matchs de démonstrations étaient organisés. Deux bons matchs qui a vu l'équipe de Careys Frieght Lines s'imposer face aux Aussie Stock Horse Association. A noter, la très bonne performance de Grant Biffin (Aussie Stock Horse Association), président de l'association australienne de horse-ball, sur sa nouvelle monture Jimmy.
Une belle foule, un bon jeu pour des joueurs n'ayant jamais joués ensemble auparavant. Ce show a été un succès attendu. L'association a effectivement enregistré les arrivées de Bec et Zoe lors de ce show.
Nos amateurs aussi ont même participer à la Grande Parade de tous les participants. Toujours plus de publicité pour promouvoir notre sport.
Le prochain "agricultural show" est programmé le week-end du 21 avril dans la capitale australienne : Canberra. Puis suivra Wee Waa show, Scone Horse Festival où un entrainement sera ouvert aux personnes désirant apprendre le jeu et les règles.  Une excellente exposition devant un grand nombre de personnes.
Cette année, nos horse-balleurs australiens sont déterminés à faire grandir et surtout à améliorer leur compétences dans le jeu grâce à tous ces shows.
Les australiens se sont fixés un objectif. Le but de l'année est de créer une équipe dans le Queensland (Etat du Nord Est) qui puisse être compétitive et présente aux prochains Championnats d'Australie en fin d'année. Sous l'impulsion d'ancien joueurs internationaux européens nous avons bon espoir quant à la création d'une nouvelle équipe dans cet Etat.

The annual meeting of the Australian horse-ball association, presided by Grant Biffin, has been held in Manilla (NSW) at the beginning of the year where a new organization chart has been put in place to launch this new season 2012 which sounds to be amazing.
This season, the Australian players will be starting their show series. This is a serie of demonstration games of various Agricultural shows around the state of NSW. These shows gathered many horses disciplines such as show jumping, rodeo or dressage which rake up a lot of people. This will be a great exposure.
Season is on ! Launched in Camden on the 24th of March (near Sydney), two games were played : Aussie Stock Horse Association versus Careys Freight Lines. Careys Frieght Lines won both games. These games have been highlighted by Grant Biffin's performance and excellent "stealth" goal with his wonder new horse Jimmy.
A Great crowd, good games with very good horse-ball skills especially with newly formed teams that didn't played together before. An amazing success which allowed two new recruits, Bec and Zoe.
The horse-ball players also paraded in the Grand Parade of the show with clydesdlae horses, harness teams, monster trucks, the light horse brigade and the show cattle teams which was a big honor and a chance to gain some more visibility for the promotion of  the sport.
They also have some more shows and clinics coming up. The next one is programmed this week end in the Australian capital: Canberra. Then some games to be run in Wee Waa and Scone Horse Festival combined with clinics. Again an excellent exposure for our sport with lots of attention and interest expected.
This year, our australians horse-ball players are focused and determined to grow up the sport and especially improving their skills.
Australians have one goal for this coming year : create a Queensland team which can be competitive and show up to the next Australian Championships at the end of the year. The presence of International players coming from Europe will be an excellent help. We are hoping to see horse-ball in Queensland in the coming year.
