Betting on Horseball

Hourseball gameI’ve always been a fan of betting. I mean, how can you not love it! Betting makes everything way more exciting, as it adds some very personal stakes to whatever it is you’re betting on. Watching “The Walking Dead” can get a bit boring at times – while the show has its moments, it also suffers from a lot of problems such as poor pacing and bland characterizations that cause some people to not get invested in it. Watching “The Walking Dead” while betting on which characters would survive by the end of the season makes the whole thing infinitely better, forcing you to be at the edge of your seat whenever the zombies start chasing the characters – which, you know, is the intended effect. Whether it’s TV shows, movies, sports events or, of course, casino games, betting on something automatically makes you way more invested in said thing. It’s, like, one of the rules of the universe! Considering how much I love horseball, it makes sense that I’d be an avid bettor, constantly placing wagers on matches organized by the FIHB, right? Well, I’m afraid it’s not that simple. In the UK, there isn’t a single bookmaker that accepts bets on horseball! Not one! Seriously! And yes, I did check each and every single one of them, by hand, searching for horseball, and the only one that even featured it at all (Betbrain) didn’t have any events, and it seemed like that had been the case for a very long time. What the hell, bookies?!? I mean, true, it’s not like it’s a super popular sport, but it’s still played by hundreds of people across the UK alone, and it’s even more popular in other regions! I’m not asking for dozens of events (cuz frankly, I don’t think there are that many), but at least being given the opportunity to bet on major events organized by the FIHB would be great! Come on, bookmakers! Get your act together!
